I really meant to get this blog post up ages ago. I had all the best intentions. But as with all good intentions…
At least this time I have a few photos to offer; since I did spend a little time crafting, in between running around with my hair on fire. The first picture is a few little clusters I made for junk journaling. These were mostly just some scraps and bits and bobs I had lying around that I decided to glue together. I think the little rhinestone is a bit extra, but it’s who I am as a person.

Since I was in a mood to glue things together, I put a little work on my Autumn journal which (don’t tell anyone) I began last Fall. I have a lot of hobbies and the attention span of gerbil in a video arcade, it is very easy to get distracted. I especially like the little tag I tucked into the pocket. Here is a second page I added, since I was on a roll.

This page was less…autumnal to me, but it was a vibe so I went with it. Sometimes when I sit down at my desk, I have a plan. Sometimes I sit down and just start working with the first things that jump into my hands. Creativity is funny that way.
I really enjoyed these short little bits of crafting. It was a nice, low-stakes way to relax when things get stressful, which is why I do it in the first place.
What about you all? Do you craft more when life is life-ing? Does your craft fall aside when things get hectic? This is a no judgement blog, so drop me a comment!
